Also this year ISWIM is organizing a workshop as part of the annual Southern African Transport Conference (SATC 2026). This time the workshop is organized together with SANRAL (South African National Road Agency SOC Ltd.). Focus of the workshop will be on the first results of the performance trials from SANRAL’s WIMe project. In addition key ISWIM experts will share their experience with the implementation of WIM systems for direct, automatic weight enforcement from different countries around the world.
The workshop will start on Wednesday (8) evening with the traditional Welcoming Braai, follwed by the various sessions on Thursday (9) and is concluded with a technical visit to the WIMe test site on Friday (10).
