Apollo Range

Apollo is more than a name. It’s a symbol of ambition, innovation, and pushing boundaries. Just as the Apollo missions redefined what was possible in space exploration, our Apollo range redefines what’s possible in vehicle weighing.

Built on British engineering and designed for reliability in both slow and high-speed applications, Apollo embodies the same spirit of exploration, problem-solving, and teamwork.  It’s not just weighing technology—it’s a commitment to precision, progress, and delivering solutions that move industries forward.

Apollo Portable

Crafted from the highest quality materials, the Apollo PORTABLE axle weigh pads are built to be both lightweight and incredibly robust. Machined from solid aircraft-grade aluminium alloy and treated for corrosion resistance, they’re designed to perform reliably in demanding environments.

Strong yet portable, the pads are simple to use and versatile—ideal for weighing vehicles either in-motion (WIM) at low speeds up to 5 km/h or statically, axle by axle. Each pad is rated to 15,000 kg, providing a total capacity of 30,000 kg per axle.

When used on a quality flat surface, the system delivers impressive accuracy: ±0.5% for static weighing and ±3% of gross vehicle weight for low-speed WIM.

For added efficiency, every system comes with a live PC link as standard, allowing transactions to be displayed in real time.

Apollo Fixed

Manufactured in Great Britain, the APOLLO Fixed Axle Weighing System delivers a high-spec solution at a low cost. Designed for flexibility, it can operate as a static axle weighbridge or as a dynamic low-speed, in-motion weigher.

Built for reliability, the system supports a wide range of applications—from check-weighing and enforcing vehicle weight limits to helping transport operators prevent overloads. The electronic weighing controller is housed in either a stainless-steel or ABS enclosure and can be wall-mounted, desk-mounted, or installed in an external cabinet for added protection.

For efficiency and accuracy, the integrated RFID reader enables fast driver identification, automatically linking each transaction with time-stamped vehicle activity data.

With the Intelligent Junction Box, load cells are monitored 24/7. In the rare event of a component failure, the system instantly alerts our team—allowing us to dispatch an engineer quickly and minimise operational downtime.

Apollo Semi-Fixed

For tipper and tanker filling operations, we’ve developed ultra low-profile weighbridges capable of weighing both rear axles and landing legs, even after the tractor unit has been removed.

All data collected can be transmitted wirelessly via 4G, enabling operators to efficiently schedule collections as soon as a body is full or empty.

In addition, Applied designs, manufactures, and supplies a full range of heavy-duty and light industrial weighbridges and platforms.

Our load cells and weight displays are manufactured in-house to the highest standards and fully compliant with ISO 9001 certification.

Apollo WIM

Imagine a scale for our highways that never slows down traffic.

High-speed weigh-in-motion is a mature technology that uses advanced sensors embedded in the road to accurately measure the weight of vehicles—including each axle and the total gross weight—while they travel at normal highway speeds.

It’s the silent guardian of our infrastructure. By capturing this data instantly and continuously.

The benefits of high-speed weigh-in-motion technology are wide-ranging, impacting everything from road safety to economic efficiency. It provides a constant flow of data without interrupting traffic.
